That's a great video. Thank you for doing it. That's a fantastic message that Mormons need to hear - that you can be very happy after leaving the church.
Emily, I just finished reading "Goodbye, I Love You" for the second time a couple days before that newest video of the series came out. So I guess in a way I was already thinking about how wonderful your family must have been growing up. I mean, I know that probably sounds funny to say, but I think the best families are those who are able to come through things the way you have and live as such an example. I've enjoyed all the exmormon videos so far, but I've enjoyed yours the most. If you get a chance, tell your mother that some random blogger who has had her face imposed onto a picture of the borg queen thinks that her writings are just swell. (And yours too.)
You know, I keep seeing those "I am a Mormon" videos and all those folks in them are so pretty/good-looking, and it kind of bugged me that they were just picking the hot ones. THEN, your video, and, well, you're hot, too. So I am kind of wondering why, being that I was baptized and all, I am not hot. Could it be a Utah thing? Other than that, good job. Your message is sincere, and with a bit of humor...people can relate to that stuff.
