I just watched 8: The Mormon Proposition. I'm a Flight Attendant with Delta Air Lines and I got back from Turkey last night and I woke up at 3 am and couldn't get back to sleep. I opened up Netflix and well some time later I sit here now energized, perplexed, and saddened.
I first of all just want to thank you for your personal insight and hard work that went into the film. As a filmmaker myself I can always watch a documentary and see the potential for one-sided argument. I remember watching Bowling for Columbine years back and the film made me so angry. Yet after I did some research about Michael Moore's tactics - I still thought he made a good film but I was taken aback by some of his fabricated scenarios. I did not feel like this film misinterpreted the facts - if anything the film gave the "other side" ample opportunity to present its case.
I come to Salt Lake from time to time for work since its a big Delta hub and I always enjoy my time there. I've even thought of moving out that way since we do have a flight to Paris from there and I speak French - I currently live and am based in NYC - but not sure this is the right place for me.
I need to follow your blog and I look forward to hearing more about your film projects as well as what else you have coming down the line.
