I guess once you've been a Mormon, there's no escaping the influence, no matter how much you distance yourself from it...it will haunt you for the rest of your life. There must be a lesson in that...somewhere...but it don't know what it is. I know for a fact that the church is a fabrication...but I'm still intrigued by what's going on behind the Zion Curtain. Perhaps all of us are still intrigued by this thing that manipulated a portion of our lives...especially if we were true believers and served missions. I love when the church gets slammed by jokes and negative exposure, but why do I still find myself wanting to root for BYU basketball?
Thanks for posting this. It's been a bad couple facebook days for me. The persecution is getting pretty thick. So thick, in fact, that it's hard to breathe. And by that, I mean the persecution (aka "fallout") all my Mormon friends are feeling right now brought on by the gay community. (sticks finger down throat). Now they're all posting the same video of the church press statement (Can you feel the love? How can people not understand how loving the church is?) and joining the same "We love you President Packer) group. (sticks finger down throat again.) I really thought my brain was going to explode until I saw this video you posted and I had a good theraputic belly laugh. So here is my gift back to you, Emily. I hope it gives you a good belly laugh. I think we all need one these days. http://www.deseretnews.com/article/705362148/Tips-for-living-How-to-deal-or-not-deal-with-door-to-door-sales-people.html

Ha. I love that woman. Too funny.
"The BOM was written by a bunch of rocks in a hat" might be my favorite line ever.
