Friday Video: Embrace Life

This is, without question, the most beautiful ad I have ever seen. I saw it and was stunned to tears. Not only are it's visuals, and the emotions they elicit, extremely powerful but it also makes a very compelling argument for having real, supportive and solid relationships and not navigating the road of life alone and unprotected either. Sigh.

Buckling up. Something to think about.

Every time I see a seat-belt commercial I think back to all those years as a kid when my dad made us all wear seat-belts. And this was before it was the thing to do. We were not happy about it but learned good habits and in 1985, when my sister and I were in a terrible roll-over accident, we both came out of it with just some stitches and bruises, including the bruise across my chest from the seat-belt. But things could have been much worse. Thanks Dad.

Yes usage of seat-belts are good, but I wish this ad would have stopped after "Embrace Life". Like Emily wrote it could almost be a religious or family or humanist ad. How, Emily, how do we make this connections?
