We're still solidifying a combination of all avenues of distribution (theatrical, foreign, DVD, television, cable, internet...) But, yes, it will be available on DVD. Stay tuned...
David, I think that's why so many of us are walking away from the church. We understand that the church can't change what it is, so we choose not to support it anymore.
David does not begin to understand Emily Pearson. Your "old news," is not her old news; it is an intrinsic issue of her life. And Emily is helping others as she sees fit at this point of her life. She knows LDS; she knows former-LDS ... and has been a dual observer for her lifetime. This movie is one of the most important projects she has done, because it is most-deeply personal on so many levels, with loved-ones she holds near and dear (the most important ones, such as Gerald, living in her heart). Finally, she knows intimately the LDS church and the good it does ... but also the unintentional but VERY REAL pain that those not fully heterosexual experience (they, their families and friends). Emily is just beginning, and still evolving and reinventing herself constantly. The good she has done, and will continue to do is her own, and so personal, that only God himself can judge her goodness. With the trials and heartbreak she has endured, she is truly heroic. This I know.
I didn't mean to offend. It was not my purpose in writing. In the past few weeks, I have enjoyed your humor and quick whit. I suppose all I wanted to point out is... if people understand the church and what it truly is, then they can understand why the LDS church has this position... I do not speak for them please understand this..
David, you actually didn't offend me and were the kinder of my critics thus far. But, thanks for your sensitivity. You gave me compliments too - that didn't go unnoticed.
Thank you for your quick response. You have great talent, it is very noticable. My question for you and Reed alike, is this... can you accomplish the same thing in a different way? Meaning can their be kind dialogue and maybe less finger pointing.. May you continue to be blessed as a wonderful daughter of our Father In Heaven.. I ask that for myself, family and loved ones too. Please dont take it wrong...

Would love to see the film; is there going to be a DVD made available any time soon?

You are a very talented lady with great potential, yet pursuing something that I call old news is crazy.
You are throwing away much good that you can do for others..
No matter how loud you bark on this issue the church cannot change its position. Why?
If it did, then it would cease to be what it is.

One can only dream.
