Anonymous, I wouldn't call them awful - just age innapropriate. Porn, naked men, a LOT of sexual activity, drugs, alcohol, Gay Day Parades & Festivals... Just not cool for a young girl to be around and partaking in. And, to clarify -this was NOT due to the fact that my dad was gay (as many who oppose gay parenting would have people believe) it was because he was still in many ways a child with broken insides. I have friends whose straight parents crossed some of the same lines.
This paradigm makes me crazy. So much fear from people, all because of their own ignorance and unacknowledged urges (that are NORMAL during every human being's sexual development, btw)
