Gay Man Myth #3

Gay men are more promiscuous than straight men.

Okay, I'm sorry, but the only thing that is keeping straight men from having sex as much as gay men is the fact that women are involved in their having it! Women, in general, require far more of an emotional connection and commitment in exchange for sex than men, in general, do. If women were emotionally capable of having sex without all the other stuff, straight men would be just as "promiscuous" as gay men.

I know, I know - there are exceptions to every rule. Blah, blah, blah. That's my opinion and I'm sticking to it.

But, while we're at it...

I know many gay men that don't sleep around, are celibate, plain old aren't gettin' any or are in committed relationships and have the same issues we goofy straight people have like differing sex drives and complaints about not "doing it" anymore. So there.
